The new admin team is 10x better than the last ones. Plus they are less cliquey and anal about stuff! I love what they have done with the site now! 155766 - 2008-08-02 20:33:03 I'm Jennifer, and I've been on Little Jimmy for roughly 2 months; I play Christopher Ford and Lindsay Kichler. I love this site SO much; it's even improved my role-playing. It's the most active RPG I've been on so far that I haven't lost interest in, and it hasn't been shut down despite being so active. I had a ton of questions when I first joined, and they were answered very efficiently. Ryker really worked hard on this site, and it shows. There's an effort put into this site that I haven't ever seen before! This is not a normal high school roleplay site; It's about 5,000,000+ times better. 156111 - 2008-08-10 20:00:49 LJ is an absolutely brilliant rpg. It's gritty, it's realistic, and above all, everyone is super friendly! Don't be afraid to join us, there'll always be someone to answer your questions and help you get started, and the plot is intriguing and all-encompassing. You'll never be left out of anything on the site. The whole premise of the game makes it amazing to be part of - it's one of the very rare real-life rpg's whih actually shows real life, along with all its problems. I absolutely love all my players, new and old, and the dedication they have to this site. I don't think you could find a more proud admin anywhere else. Everyone is always friendly to everyone else and their is always a massive amount of posting and plotting going on. If you are feeling down and having a bad day, month or even year, the LJ members will be there to pull you through. They even recognize birthdays in a birthday thread for each member who has one on that day. As Ellie and Jesse said, we always welcome newbies with open arms and plots in our introduction threads. Not only do we have amazing players, we have the most amazing and realistic characters. We have racists, drug dealers, people with mental problems, deaf people, blind people, homophobes, etc. We don't do the "pretty people" roleplay. That's too boring for us. We like our real life like real life. We've even had a murder on the board! The main aspect of the plot that a lot of the members love is our racism subplot with two main groups. We don't just do the white people hating black people. We have Ethnic characters who hate white people. We have prejudiced characters as well. We have two groups, the Outlaws and the White Hands, which could be related to the KKK and Malcom X for you history nuts. We've got several events coming up, IC wise. We just finished our 60's dance. We are now having a town carnival with a band being played and a talent show where the school's cliques compete againist each other. An idea suggested to strengthen friendships within cliques and form some enemies from the rivals. We also have an Outlaw kiddo outing where we invited all our ethnic students. On the same lines, we have an Outlaw tribal ceremony coming up to name the heirs of the Outlaws. On the opposite side of everything, the WH are having a formal dinner to induct Andrew Barker, James Jackson V and Alexia Cromwell (first female heir!) into the WH. So everyone right now has an event that they can partake in! We are having our annual roleplay awards and disney/dreamworks/etc awards coming up! Plenty of categories so everyone has a chance to win something and display a pretty graphic. (Which most of our members have a ton of support graphics in their sigs!) LJ is truly the best rpg I have ever owned or been on. My other two admins - Jenn and Dani are the sweetest and most dedicated staff that anyone could ask for. They help me out when I feel overwhelmed with things on my to-do list and not to mention that when I found myself short on staff - I had nearly half the site offering to help out. Our members are dedicated to LJ and it shows. We truly are a big family on here and I'm glad I have so many sisters and brothers. smile.gif - Ryker P.S. Ryker is going to try to somehow convince a fashion major to sew little pirate plushies. She is also going to try to get a ton of money so she can send them to all her members for good luck during the new school year. wink.gif And don't feed the black spots. They are very dangerous.
